1 year agoTurning it off is fine, I've never had any issues with that. Well, except for my very first iPhone. Just because I had to get used to it, but then everything became intuitively clear. And I don't even turn it off that often, you could say almost never. Usually, I just switch it to airplane mode. But somehow I woke up in the morning, and my iPhone won't turn on. Usually you just have to press and hold the side button, but this time it didn't work and I panicked a little. I thought I should just charge it, but that didn’t help either. Luckily, we found an article https://setapp.com/how-to/iphone-wont-turn-on through a friend's phone. They advised checking the charging port, and it turned out there was a lot of dust and debris in there. I carefully removed it all and blew it out, after which my iPhone started charging and working again.
